From the time she was a teenager hosting her first event to the twenty-plus strong years she’s put into her career and becoming an essential part of the House Music community. Every move that Ms. DJ Young Starr has made along the way has positively moved her forward towards that next-level.  Specializing in all-things-entertainment and proudly playing all types of music in the sets she spins, Ms. DJ Young Starr has taken on roles as a host, emcee, wedding DJ, radio programmer/producer, event planner, and more.

A tireless & true advocate/activist on behalf of change on a social-level, she founded her own non-profit organization – the Young Starr Movement – the only domestic violence support network that embraces the power of music and message to provide healing.  With a proven track record for tremendous success, Ms. DJ Young Starr has been able to demonstrate the multiple benefits of adding music to our lives as a performer, creator, producer, and organizer of stunning events for reputable non-profits like URI NYC, Girl Scouts Of America, Alzheimer’s Association Of CT and CNR Health Systems, to name a few.  The list of places and important events where Ms. DJ Young Starr can be found is endless; she’s a humble artist on a mission to bring real joy to the world through music, vibrantly bringing the entertainment straight to the people where it belongs, in her own sincere effort to make this a better place for one and all.
